After signing up, you are free to cancel anytime without incurring additional charges.
The medications available on our platform include a class of drugs called GLP-1s and alternative medications that are effective for weight loss.
GLP-1’s are powerful, naturally-occurring hormones made by your gut that send signals to your brain to decrease your appetite, improve your metabolic system, and regulate your digestion so you can feel full longer and maximize nutrient absorption. The GLP-1 medications offered include semaglutide, liraglutide, and tirzepatide, sometimes better known by their brand names like Ozempic®, Wegovy®, Saxenda® and Mounjaro™, respectively.
We also offer alternative effective weight loss medications including Contrave®. Contrave is a combination of two medications: bupropion and naltrexone. It was approved in 2014 as a treatment to aid with weight loss by the FDA for use by adults who are obese and by overweight adults who have at least one other weight-related condition or illness, such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.
All of the medications we offer are clinically backed and can be effective tools. Your healthcare professional will prescribe what is right for you.
If for some reason your insurance will not cover the cost of your medication, you’ll have the option to either pay for the medication out of pocket (typically $30–$1,600/month, depending on the medication) or cancel your Sunrise membership. Given the cost of ongoing provider support and insurance assistance, we are unable to offer refunds for previously incurred monthly membership fees.
To cancel your membership, please email support@findsunrise.com requesting to cancel. Given the cost of ongoing provider support and insurance assistance, we are unable to offer refunds for previously incurred monthly membership fees.
We navigate insurance on your behalf and are able to work with the vast majority of commercial/employer insurance plans in order to get cost-effective access for your GLP-1 medication and coverage for your labs. Lab copays vary by plan.
GLP-1s for most members with commercial insurance is typically around $25 per month after any deductible is met but, at times, and depending on plan, can be higher. Federal payors do no cover GLP-1 treatment at this time. The cost of the Sunrise program is not covered by insurance, however it is HSA/FSA eligible.
Currently, Sunrise is available to individuals for whom the following apply. We are actively working on expanding access to Sunrise.
• Are between 18 - 64 years of age
• Have a BMI that is >30, or >27 with one or more of the following metabolic conditions: diabetes, pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, obstructive sleep apnea or PCOS.

• Who do not have an active substance abuse problem, an active eating disorder (e.g., anorexia or bulimia), cancer, recent bariatric surgery (within the past 18 months), active gallbladder disease, a history of pancreatitis in the past six months, or a history of medullary thyroid cancer (MEN syndrome)

The above list is not exhaustive and subject to review by our affiliated medical providers who determine individual eligibility.
The medications that are a part of our platform are called GLP-1s, and are clinically-tested, stimulant-free, and non-habit forming. Side effects are extremely rare, and most individuals who take a GLP-1 do not experience any. For those who do, nausea is the most common, and this typically resolves over the first few weeks of being on the medication.
If you do experience any side effects, you’ll be able to reach out to your Medical Team directly for support. In the most recent clinical trials, less than 5% of people discontinued GLP-1 medications because of side effects.
