How to Store Your Medication

Here's a brief overview of the guidelines for storing and disposing of compounded semaglutide medication.

Put your vial of semaglutide in the refrigerator immediately.

Keep your medication between 35°F to 46°F (2°C - 8°C), or else it won’t be fully effective or may expire. If you are traveling, compounded semaglutide vials have demonstrated stability for up to 7 days at temperatures up to 104°F (40°C).

If your vials were left out longer than 4 days after delivery, please contact our team at support@findsunrise.com

Dispose of your needles and syringes in a sharps container.

If needed, you can get a safe sharps container at your local pharmacy or online. Label your container, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Please ensure safe disposal of the sharps and sharps container.

How long will your medication last after opening?

Once you puncture your medication with a needle, properly discard any unused medication left in the vial after 28 days, or on the Beyond Use Date, whichever occurs first.

Tip: Write down the date you opened the vial on the side!
